CBNi’s First Project Operations Company Established

  On June 7, Inner Mongolia Longbang Network Technology Co., Ltd. held its inauguration ceremony and its first Board of Directors meeting in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Mr. Lin Jing, chief accountant of CBN and chairman of CBNI, and Mr. Fu Haibo, chairman of Inner Mongolia Broadcast and TV Network Group Co., Ltd., unveiled the nameplate of Inner Mongolia Longbang Network Technology Co., Ltd. The meeting was attended by executives from China Broadcasting Network International Co., Ltd. and Inner Mongolia Broadcast and TV Wireless Communication Co., Ltd. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Ren Gang, deputy managing director of Inner Mongolia Broadcast and TV Network Group Co., Ltd.

  Chairman Lin Jing said that Inner Mongolia Longbang Network Technology Co., Ltd. would be an important portal for China to open to the north and a cooperative platform for China’s broadcast networks to go out and expand their international communication. The unveiling of the new company has opened a new chapter in the Go Out project for China’s broadcast networks. It is hoped that the shareholders will make concerted efforts to facilitate the development of the Sansar project in Mongolia and make due contributions to exchanges and cooperation between China and Mongolia.

  Chairman Fu Haibo said that Inner Mongolia Longbang Network Technology Co., Ltd. was successfully established thanks to the concern and support of leaders at all levels from the state and the autonomous region. As a shareholder of Inner Mongolia Broadcast and TV Network Group Co., Ltd. will leverage its manpower, financial resources, technology, and broadcast network go-out experience to support the development of Longbang Technology and ensure the smooth construction of the Sansar Cable TV Network.

  After the inauguration ceremony, Inner Mongolia Longbang Network Technology Co., Ltd. called its first Board of Directors meeting, where the company’s chairman and vice chairmen were unanimously elected, the company’s managers were appointed, and deliberations were made on company’s investment and cooperation agreements with Mongolia and the company’s compensation packages and basic management system.

  Inner Mongolia Longbang Network Technology Co., Ltd. was jointly funded by China Broadcasting Network International Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Broadcasting Network Co., Ltd., and Inner Mongolia Broadcast and TV Wireless Communication, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inner Mongolia Broadcast and TV Network Group Co., Ltd. The joint venture aims to strengthen cooperation with Sansar Cable TV Network Co., Ltd. (Mongolia) in building the Ulan Bator Cable TV Network, accelerating network upgrades, and thus providing high-quality and high-efficiency broadcast network services for the local people.

  China Broadcasting Network International Co., Ltd. was established in March 2018 as the main operator of the overseas business of China Broadcasting Network Co., Ltd. The company is positioned to undertake the investment, establishment, and operation of broadcast networks, the translation, exchange, and transaction of film and TV products, and the development of value-added Internet services for countries along the Belt and Road. The establishment of Longbang Technology marks the beginning of a new cooperation model by CBNI—diverse broadcast capital is actively introduced for project cooperation, and multi-faceted and all-round cooperation is conducted for joint development and operation of overseas broadcast networks.
